Full-time Website Developer in the Charlotte metro, working remotely. Build and maintain fast, accessible sites in React, TypeScript and Tailwind, static sites generated with Python, and a few WordPress sites, for our agency brands and our clients.

The role

Building the websites behind our brands and our clients.

SkyBridge Creations builds websites and runs local marketing for small businesses and contractors across North and South Carolina. It is one of four agency brands run by one team: SkyBridge Creations, ByteZero, California Law Firm SEO and Law Firm Marketing Texas. Together we build websites and run SEO, AI-search visibility and Google Ads for small businesses and law firms in the US and Canada, and we rank our own websites the same way we rank clients.

This role builds and maintains the websites our SEO and ads work depends on. Most of our sites are React, TypeScript and Tailwind apps (TanStack Start on Vite) hosted on Lovable and synced to GitHub. Others are static HTML, CSS and JavaScript generated by Python build scripts, and a few client sites run on WordPress with Elementor. Forms and leads go to Supabase, and every site ships with GA4 events and JSON-LD schema.

The work is practical: a new service page today, a layout that breaks on one phone tomorrow, a form that has to reach the right inbox. We care about pages that load fast, read well at 390 px wide, pass accessibility checks and tell search engines exactly what they are. You work directly with the SEO and ads team and see your changes show up in Search Console and in leads.

The job is fully remote, but you need to live in the Charlotte metro, on the North Carolina or South Carolina side, so you can meet a client or a teammate in person when that helps.

Build and ship pages

  • Build new pages and sections in React, TypeScript and Tailwind from a design or a written brief
  • Maintain the Python builders that generate our static sites, and sync their output to GitHub
  • Make careful edits to WordPress and Elementor client sites
  • Keep main deployable: build locally, push, publish, then check the live page

Performance, mobile and accessibility

  • Keep Core Web Vitals healthy: image sizing, lazy loading, font loading and layout shift
  • Test every page at 390 px and at the widths in between, not just phone and desktop
  • Fix accessibility issues: headings, labels, contrast, focus states and alt text
  • Run Lighthouse and PageSpeed checks before and after each change

SEO plumbing

  • Write and validate JSON-LD schema (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList) that matches what the page shows
  • Own titles, meta tags, canonicals, sitemaps, robots.txt and llms.txt
  • Keep one H1 per page and a clean heading structure
  • Set up 301 redirects when URLs change so no link or ranking is lost

Forms, tracking and infrastructure

  • Wire forms to Supabase (Lovable Cloud) and email so every lead reaches the right inbox
  • Add and test GA4 events and conversion tracking with the ads team
  • Manage DNS, redirects and caching in Cloudflare
  • Keep spam out of forms without making them harder for real people
Who we are looking for

What you bring.

Must have

  • 2 to 5 years building and maintaining production websites
  • Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and working React with TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS or another utility-first CSS approach
  • Git and GitHub for everyday work
  • Responsive layouts that hold up at 390 px and at every width in between
  • A working understanding of technical SEO: meta tags, canonicals, redirects and structured data
  • Live sites you built or substantially worked on that you can show us
  • A reliable computer and home internet for full-time remote work
  • Live in the Charlotte metro (North Carolina or South Carolina side)

Nice to have

  • Lovable, TanStack Start or Vite
  • Python for build scripts and small automations
  • WordPress with Elementor
  • Supabase, Cloudflare and Google Tag Manager
  • Accessibility testing with a screen reader

  • You ship code you have not checked in a real browser at phone width
  • You would rather rebuild every site in a new framework than improve the one that is live
